Tolerances

Flatness of Sheets and Plates

In the majority of requirements, Perforating Sheets can be furnished to AISI flatness tolerances (See table below). Before ordering any of the following special requirements, discuss them with our sales department.

  • 1. Perforated sheets with extra wide margins.
  • 2. Blank areas required within the perforated area.
  • 3. Perforated sheets with very large percentage of open area.
  • 4. Heavy gauge metal in relation to the size of perforation.
  • 5. Special alloys.
  • 6. Stretcher leveled sheets.

Perforating and Processing Only

When the material is to be furnished by the customer, we use the terminology "Perforating and Processing Only." All material so furnished must be of perforating quality. The weight of material furnished to us, refers to the weight before perforating.

Cold Rolled Sheets

For sheets over 12" in width not specified to Stretcher Leveled Standard of Flatness.
